Contemporary jazz string trio, J.A.M. String Collective, brings improvising strings to the fore. The trio weaves songlike melodies into open group improvisations, creating spontaneous filmic textures, injected with a solid dose of groove and the Blues. Occupying a fluid space between jazz and contemporary sound worlds, J.A.M. takes influence from the likes of ATOM String Quartet, Charles Mingus, and Kronos Quartet.

On 5th May 2023 they release their debut EP - ‘J∆M’ - joined by legendary saxophonist Steve Williamson (The Steve Williamson Experience), and emerging drum talent Zoe Pascal (Zeñel), supported by Help Musicians.
